It's hard to believe Term 1 of Summer 2012 is already winding down! We're happy to be welcoming parents into the gates right now, but we're also sad to see our new friends go because it's been a fantastic term full of laughter, growth, and tons of memories. Many of those memories have been made as we've enjoyed meals and fellowship together in our dining hall, which we lovingly call the Warming Hut. The Hut is a hub of camp, both physically and figuratively, because it helps set the tone for the term. If things are going well in the kitchen and dining hall, there's normally a pretty great vibe across camp. We like to have fun during our mealtimes, and we know that campers do too!
These are the lovely ladies that help set that tone by serving our campers and staff behind the counter all week. They're our kitchies! They work super hard, make mealtimes energetic, and share their beautiful smiles with each child that comes up for a refill. They also know just about every camper's name and love interacting with them, and we know the campers love them back! Kitchies also like to dance...a lot. Thanks, girls, for being instrumental in making term 1 a huge success!
