There are two mountains on either side of our valley-residing camp. One is built of huge cliffs and that is where we have our awesome zip line. The other side is what we call Cub Scout Corey Mountain which is named for an infamous camp skit character who lives up on the mountain. There is also a hiking trail on the mountain. The Institute class climbs it sometimes and I try to get up at least once a week. The view from the top is incredible. There are a couple of houses being built on the top so I've taken some time to relax after the climb and to view camp from their porch. It truly is the best view in the valley. Sometimes I forget that camp is not in its own little world; there is so much more around us and from the top, you can see EVERYTHING!
