This is my baby girl, Maggie, and her best friend, Hally. They are campers at Kivu this term. . .cabin 1. She is having a blast! Her counselors are some of the best we have (I didn't even pull any strings) and the girls in her cabin are super cute!
It is fun to see how God brings people from all over to be in our lives for a moment or for a lifetime or for eternity. There is a girl in Maggie's cabin who is the daughter of a girl I cheered with in high school. Crazy!
Today they are rock climbing! It was so fun to see two vans of 11 and 12 year olds load up and head up to Middle Mountain to climb! What a great way to spend the summer!
So, to all you parents out there, I'm in your shoes (except I run into my daughter accidentally from time to time). I am trusting the Kivu staff with my daughters mind body and soul. I am not tucking my girl in each night and I cannot wait to hear her camp stories!
Your kids are having a blast! I've see more than just these two smiles today!
