We've just had the best day in Rwanda! The students keep saying "that was awesome!" I love hearing that! I think all of our faces hurt from smiling so much and we wouldn't want it any other way. This morning we visited Ibiwacu cultural village and had a blast! I will have the student write more amount their day soon. But to sum in up, we were ancient Rwandans for the day, grinding sorghum, shooting arrows, learning traditional medicine and metal work, dancing, drumming and dressing up like the king and queen. The pictures are a phone photo of a camera screen so I am sorry they are so blurry and sideways but I figure they are better than none at all. Better quality photos will come home with your kids! After the cultural village we went to a school for deaf children. It is amazing. We all got special sign names and the kids remembered all of them! We jumped rope and played clapping games. We played volleyball and soccer. We watched their classroom lessons. We saw the trades they are learning like basket weaving and wood carving. These kids were so talented, so kind and so welcoming. I loved them so much. Everyone seems to be doing wonderful They are learning lots of the kinyarwandan language, we are eating delicious Rwandan food, and we are having a really good time as a group! Thanks for you prayers!
