Day 1!

Today is the first full day of summer 2015! The first day of the summer is always a good one as it marks the beginning of an incredible two months. The first day is full of reconnecting with previous campers and getting to know the campers that are here for the first time. I love the community we develop here and I especially love welcoming new people into the community so they can have a chance to experience something that has been so instrumental in my life.

As I was out on the volleyball court this afternoon as cabins rotated through I started thinking a lot about the memories from past summers. Some of my favorite memories I have are from summers here at KIVU and I'm really excited for the chance this summer to continue to add to that collection. Summers at KIVU have a special place in my heart and I'm looking forward to seeing how this upcoming summer develops!
