Just wanted to take a minute and brag on Sundown Bakery. As you may have read before, Camp Kivu is now fully bread supplied by a local bakery. The bread is 50x better (wheat berry, sourdough, cinnamon raisin, jalapeno chedder, etc) than our old bread and it comes fresh every few days. The man who is facilitating it all for us is Rich. And every few days when Rich comes in the kitchen, we all get excited because not only is he bringing us great bread to eat, but he is also one cool dude. Today, Rich brought an extra surprise for us...sweet goodness in the form of DONUTS!!!! The bakery also makes donuts, and just because he's so awesomely nice, we had 3 full boxes of donuts as big as your head to share with campers and staff. So if you're ever in the Durango area, buy a loaf at the market or head down to Ignacio and visit/support Sundown Bakery. Because... they rock!!

And this last picture is for the mothers of Luke Edgerton and Peter Cunningham. These two told me their moms would be very proud to see that they are cutting fruit and working hard in a kitchen. Special thanks to these two guys for cutting about 300 strawberries and 12 pineapples for girls night tonight.
This is fantastic!
