Climbing High over Durango

Today was another successful day of trips!

I had the pleasure of going rock climbing with an awesome group of campers. We enjoyed a day full of sunny skies, laughter, hanging out with friends, and of course climbing X-rock. We even set up a few enos to relax in while we watched the climbers and caught up with each other.

The climb comes with an amazing view which looks out over the valley in Durango. Everyone on the trip was able to scale the rock face while a few also conquered a fear of heights. Some watched from below, but a few including Madeline, Georgia, Chris, Bailey, Xander, Dax, and Tiki hiked up to cheer on the others from above.

The beautiful day made for more fun times here at Camp Kivu! Although Term 1 is far from over it is clear that memories and lifelong friends are being made every day. We look forward to going on new adventures and creating stories that will be told for years to come!
